Next challenge to tackle was the throttle linkage. Thanks to everyone who sent or posted pictures, they were immensely helpful. I looked closely at the current linkage sets available at the moment but found them very pricey. The linkage I finally ended up making, cost me $140 AUD so I was fairly happy with that.

The support brackets were laser cut to fit the front of the injector housing. The linkages (3) were adjusted in length to give fully open butterfly's with a cable movement of 1" (25mm). This can be readjusted when the pedals are fitted back in the body. The system works in a linear fashion and is very smooth.

I decided to spray my Injection housings with heat resistant paint to keep the colour theme, I must admit, they came up extremely well and don't look too bad either.

Notice the small air filter on the air bleed adjuster. This is a K&N filter. The three main air filters are also K&N.

More to come on the injection...

February 8th 2010....I have now decided to fit a Megasquirt system on my car. I have spoken to Andy (MkIIPI) and Nick Jones the injection guru from the TR Forums. These guy's have guided me in the right direction with what I need and how to do it..I am extremely thankful to you both as I really don't think I would have bothered if it wasn't for your help and encouragement.

I will be detailing all the workings of this upgrade to help anyone else who is thinking of going down this path....more soon.
